Superman - Man of Steel
In 2015 I began a project. I started creating simple vector illustrations based on DC Comics characters.
These flat design illustrations were meant to be wallpapers/background for smart phones and tablets. The designs all had two unifying elements; The all utilized the same keylight, and they were all laid out to be fitted to a rectangle and devoid of any humanoid contouring.
The idea was to look like the costumes had been framed.
Many of these designs were uploaded here on Behance and I was quite happy with them.
Fast forward to 2023.
I decided to start revisiting these images and updating them. I disliked the simple flat design style I used in the original project and wanted to make them feel more tactile.
